Product Information
Motorola BPR50dX Radio – VHF Model (AAH88LDK8AD5BN)
When your team is spread across a large facility and every second counts, dropped signals and dead batteries aren't just inconvenient—they're costly. The Motorola BPR50dX VHF two-way radio is built to keep your workforce connected, coordinated, and safe from the first shift to the last.
Clear Communication, Every Time
The BPR50dX delivers crisp, static-free audio even in the noisiest environments. Its 3-watt maximum audio output—the loudest in the Mag One family—is backed by built-in noise cancellation, so your team hears every transmission clearly whether they're on a loading dock, retail floor, or construction site. Switching to Digital Mode (DMR) extends your coverage range even further and sharpens audio quality for teams operating across larger or multi-story facilities.
Power That Lasts
A two-way radio is only useful if it's on. With up to 23 hours of battery life in digital mode, the BPR50dX outlasts a full shift—and then some. When a recharge is needed, the USB-C port lets you top it up with any standard USB charger, so there's no searching for proprietary cables or charging docks.
Built for Real Work Environments
Rated IP55 for dust and water resistance and tested to MIL-STD-810 standards, the BPR50dX holds up under the physical demands of a high-energy workday. At just 10.6 oz and 4.8 inches tall, it's compact enough to carry comfortably through a full shift without weighing your team down.
Features That Keep Your Team Safe
Safety is built into every aspect of the BPR50dX. Key safety features include:
- Emergency Alert – Instantly signal for help with a dedicated emergency button
- Lone Worker – Automatically checks in with isolated staff to confirm their safety
- Remote Monitor – Allows supervisors to remotely activate a radio's microphone for real-time awareness
These features are especially valuable for security teams, facilities managers, and anyone operating in environments where staff may be working alone or in high-risk conditions.
Designed for Flexibility and Scale
With 64 channels, 3 programmable buttons, Voice Operation Transmission (VOX), and Custom Channel Announcements, the BPR50dX adapts to the way your team communicates—not the other way around. The Dual Capacity Direct Mode also allows two simultaneous conversations on a single channel, effectively doubling your radio capacity without additional infrastructure.
