Yes. In addition to 4G LTE, the TLK110 supports Wi-Fi calling over 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. This gives you a reliable backup connection in environments where cellular coverage may be limited, such as large indoor facilities or basements.

The TLK110 comes equipped with a rechargeable 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery that delivers up to 18 hours of use on a single charge—enough to power through even the longest shifts without interruption.

For optimal performance, charge your battery for 4 to 5 hours before first use. Batteries charge most efficiently at room temperature, so avoid charging in extreme heat or cold. Use only Motorola Solutions-approved chargers to stay within warranty terms and protect battery longevity.

The battery level is displayed via an on-screen icon. A solid green LED indicates a high charge (80–100%), a solid red LED signals a medium charge, and a flashing red LED means the battery is critically low (under 5%). A lightning bolt icon appears on screen while the device is charging.

The TLK110 is built with serious safety in mind—particularly for lone workers and high-risk environments. Key features include:

• Dedicated Emergency Button: Press and hold to immediately declare an emergency and alert the right personnel. A 3-second countdown gives you the chance to cancel if triggered by mistake.
• Lone Worker Monitoring: If no user activity is detected within a configurable time period, the radio automatically issues a warning tone. If the user doesn't respond, an emergency call is initiated to the designated contact.
• Man Down / Fall Alert: Using an accelerometer, the TLK110 detects if the device has been tilted to an unusual angle or if movement has stopped. After a pre-warning tone, an emergency call is automatically placed if the situation isn't corrected.

These features are accessible via the WAVE PTX Safeguard platform and can be configured on a per-user basis.

When enabled, the Lone Worker feature starts a response timer in the background. If no button press or talkgroup activity is detected before the timer expires, the radio emits a warning tone and starts a reminder countdown. Should that timer also expire without a response, the device automatically places an emergency call on the user's behalf. Response times, reminder durations, and emergency contacts are all configurable through the WAVE PTX portal.

The Fall Alert (Man Down) feature uses the radio's built-in accelerometer to monitor the device's angle and movement. If the TLK110 is held at an unusual angle or detects that movement has stopped, it emits a pre-warning tone prompting the user to reposition the device. If no correction is made within the configured time, the WAVE PTX application automatically places an emergency call to the assigned group or contact. Angle, movement sensitivity, and alarm durations are all fully configurable.

Yes. The TLK110 carries an IP67 rating, meaning it is fully dustproof and can withstand submersion in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes.

The microphone isolates speech while simultaneously reducing unwanted environmental sounds, and the wideband speaker ensures the audio on the receiving end is clear and intelligible—even in loud or busy settings. There are four levels of noise suppression available, with Level 2 set as the default. Suppression levels can be adjusted through the WAVE PTX portal to suit each user's environment.

Yes. The TLK110 features Voice Operated Transmit (VOX), which activates push-to-talk by voice alone—no button press needed. Importantly, VOX on the TLK110 is voice-activated only (not triggered by ambient noise), so it remains reliable even in noisy environments.

Note: VOX is only compatible with VOX-enabled wired earphones, not Bluetooth accessories or internal microphones.

Yes. The WAVE PTX administration portal allows you to remotely configure, update, and manage your entire fleet of TLK110 devices—without needing to physically collect them. From the portal, you can push software updates, set up talkgroups, program button shortcuts, adjust noise suppression levels, and configure safety profiles like Lone Worker and Fall Alert on a per-user basis.

The TLK110 supports up to 96 channels and a contact list of up to 1,000 entries, giving you the flexibility to manage large, multi-department teams with ease.

Yes. The TLK110 is Bluetooth-enabled and supports up to 3 simultaneous Bluetooth connections with different accessory types, including headsets, scanners, sensors, and PTT-only devices (PODs). The TLK110 is covered by a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, starting from the date of purchase. Batteries and chargers are also covered for 12 months, with the battery capacity warranty guaranteeing at least 80% of rated capacity throughout the warranty period.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, or use outside of normal operating conditions. It also excludes cosmetic damage (such as surface scratches), products with removed serial numbers, and transportation costs to service locations.
