Intrinsically Safe
The Kenwood NX-P1200ISNVK is an intrinsically safe radio that allows for secure communication. This radio is approved for Class I, Div. 1, Group D. They are also approved for non-Incendive use in Class I, Div. 2, Groups A, B, C, D hazardous locations.
Push-to-Talk
For operators in environments where dual communication across groups is a necessity, the PTT button feature is programmable to allow communications with a second channel.
Security
Security is of the upmost importance. To help maintain security and confidentiality in: analog mode is a 16-code voice inversion scrambler and in digital mode is a NXDN Digital 15-bit encryption.
